Attorney Paul M. Sushchyk has been in the practice of law since 1981 and has maintained a general practice of law since 1981.
He has represented clients in many different aspects of the law, to include civil and criminal trial practice, jury and jury waived, appellate practice (state and federal), and real estate development and conveyancing, marketing and sales. His range of practice includes both the state and federal courts, including but not limited to criminal matters, personal injury claims, divorce, probate and estate administration, will contests, guardian and conservatorship proceedings.
In association with Attorney Burton F. Berg, Attorney Sushchyk has represented the land owners who seek just compensation for the value of their land taken by a municipality or the state as a result of eminent domain land takings.
Attorney Sushchyk has also been appointed by the Probate and Family Court and the Land Court to act as Discovery Master, as Trustee, as Master in Equity and as Commissioner pursuant to petition to partition of land proceedings.
Attorney Sushchyk has consistently represented both Buyers and Sellers of single family, multiple family and mixed-use properties and has also represented commercial lenders, closing mortgage loan transactions.
Attorney Sushchyk has represented real estate developers relative to the subdivision of property and its subsequent development, appearing developers before local zoning boards and zoning boards of appeals.
Attorney Sushchyk also has served for 15 years as Selectman for the Town of Sterling and has also served on local boards, to include the Executive Committee of the Worcester County Bar Association. Attorney Sushchyk is a retired military officer, serving 22 years in the United States Army Reserve. He is married, with three adult children. He and his wife, Betty, reside in Sterling, Massachusetts.
